How It Works

Onlyscan organizes publicly available creator profile information into a fast, searchable directory. Here’s what happens behind the scenes.

1) We collect public profile data

Onlyscan indexes publicly available profile information (such as username, display name, avatar/header images, bio text, and public counters) and links back to the official creator page. We do not host private content, paywalled posts, or leaked material.

2) The database is refreshed regularly

Profiles can change often — creators update names, prices, bios, or deactivate accounts. Our system routinely re-checks listings and refreshes metadata so search results stay useful and accurate. Some fields may still be incomplete or temporarily outdated, but the goal is to keep the directory continuously improving.

3) We enrich and organize the data

To make discovery easier, we structure and normalize the raw text (for example: cleaning formatting, decoding entities, removing duplicates, and standardizing fields). We also use automation and AI-assisted processing to help cluster and categorize information where possible — improving relevance for search and filters.

Example: A bio might include keywords that can help match a search query even if the exact phrase isn’t written the same way.

4) Search & filters

When you search, Onlyscan matches your query against available public fields (such as name, username, and bio text) and combines it with filters (tags, price, activity, promoted/featured placements, etc.). Results are then ranked to show the most relevant profiles first.

5) Corrections, removals, and safety
